Five completed projects. The equipment purchase is excluded. Some reused lines and wiring; others included added materials. Confirm model compatibility, exact materials, electrical scope and coverage before buying.

What the work covers
- Only the equipment and number of indoor heads listed in the proposal.
- Specified line sets, condensate work, mounting and installation labor.
What may be separate
- New circuits, panels, long line runs, access changes and finish repairs unless included.
- The equipment purchase when the customer supplies the unit.
- Repairs to existing equipment or a separate prior invoice.
What changes the price?
- One or multiple zones, capacity and indoor-head type.
- Equipment supplied by Farrell or supplied by you.
- Electrical requirements, line length, drains and access.

How we checked the prices.
Twelve distinct completed 2026 installations were checked: five with customer-provided equipment, four Farrell-supplied single-zone systems, one supplied two-zone system, one project with two separate systems, and one much larger building project. The headline covers the six smaller Farrell-supplied projects. A $637.50 prior repair was removed from one bundled invoice. The building project had $83,500 of HVAC work across nine condensers and fourteen heads, plus electrical and other work; it is outside this small-project band.
12 distinct completed records were reviewed for this service. Subgroups have smaller samples, as described above. This is a selected scope review, not a statistical average. We do not publish customer details. A historical discount or an older price is not a current promotion.
Questions worth asking.
Does the lower installation price include the mini-split?
Not when the equipment is customer-supplied. An installation-only price covers its stated labor and materials. Company-supplied system pricing includes the specified equipment; the two should not be compared as identical jobs.
Does a two-zone price cover two complete systems?
Not necessarily. One outdoor unit with two indoor heads differs from two independent systems. The proposal should identify each condenser, each indoor head and every connection.
Is electrical work included?
Only as listed. Existing suitable power may be reused on some projects; other installations need circuits, panel work or more extensive wiring. Those differences can materially change the total.
